Everything needed to watch a video with a device moving in time with it is free. What a licence buys is control over how it moves.

In the headset
Headset playback is not a paid feature. The free headset mode is a viewer — everything needed to put it on, watch, and sit where you want to sit. A licence adds the ability to change the script from inside it.

Locked rows stay drawn and answering. A row that has quietly vanished teaches nobody what they are missing, and a dead one just reads as a fault.
What a key is
One key, one PC, and it moves
- Unlocking asks the licence server. If it cannot be reached, the key unlocks anyway for seven days, and Tandem asks again each time it starts until the server answers
- After that the unlock is a file on your own PC, good for a year, and needs no internet (The Handy and Autoblow still need their makers' cloud)
- One check a launch — about half a minute in — asks whether the key has moved to another PC, and quietly collects the next year when the file is inside its last two months. What that request carries
- Moving to a new PC means pasting the same key there. Nothing to deactivate first. The first move is free; after that a move waits 30 days
- Two PCs in use at once need two keys. You can buy more than one in an order
- Free updates within 1.x
Refunds
If it does not work, say so
Licence keys are delivered instantly, and all sales are final once your key has been sent. If Tandem does not work on your machine, contact me first — I will help you get it running, and if it genuinely cannot work I will refund you.
If a key that has never been activated does not work, email me your order ID and I will replace it — the new key then appears on your order page. A key that refuses after activation is almost always the one-PC binding rather than the key itself, and that takes about a second to clear from my side — you re-paste the key you already have.
